    Photo Proofs Coming

Families will be receiving proofs of their child’s school pictures prior to ordering prints from LifeTouch. Families can review the photos and decide if they wish to have retakes or not. Along with the proofs, we will send information on ordering, scheduling retakes, and doing touch-ups. Please watch for those in your student’s take-home folder.

    Volunteer Drivers

As a reminder, volunteer drivers (for field trips and other school events) will need to resubmit paperwork (insurance info) each year. If you plan to drive for any HMES events this year, please stop by the school office to sign the necessary papers as soon as possible. Thank you, drivers!

    Site Council Members Needed

This advisory group of parents, community members, and school staff, provides input on the Local Control and Accountability Plan, examines school site plans such as safety and education plans, and reviews certain board policies before they are sent to the school board. It’s a great chance to learn about how your student’s school works and meet others who care about and are engaged with the school. If you are interested in being nominated or nominating someone for a two-year term, please contact the office: (707) 965.2423.

    Join the Wolf Pack

HMES’s parent-teacher organization meets once a month for the first couple months of school, then every other month during the winter.

It doesn’t take much effort, but your involvement is needed and very much appreciated. If you cannot make the meetings but want to be involved, please email Rachel Davies, Wolf Pack leader, and she will keep you in the loop.
